Traditional
Summer Camp

We host sessions for three different groups of campers:

  • Campers age 12-20 with intellectual/ developmental disabilities

  • Campers age 18-40 with intellectual/ developmental disabilities

  • Campers age 12-17 who are blind/ visually impaired, who are independent in self care

Campers sleep in cabins with their peers, participate in traditional summer camp activities (click here to read more about our activities!)  and eat three family- style meals per day. We incorporate life skills and social skills into all of our programs.

BVI Mini Camps

Our BVI Mini Camps happen in the fall and spring, and are weekend-long retreats for teens age 13-17 who are blind/ visually impaired. These sessions are intended for campers who are independent in self-care, and would typically be successful in a mainstream classroom.

Each session will include different activities and skills that campers will learn (for example- makeup and haircare, CPR/ First Aid Certification, accessibility in technology, self advocacy, etc.) Read the registration information for your chosen session for more info!
